Who we are?

Little Lights Liverpool is a charity, and we rely on donations from the local community to make sure that we can offer hospice care to children with life limiting and life-threatening illnesses and their families.

The Hospice is based West Derby, Liverpool. It costs almost £2 million to offer our services, and the majority of funding is raised in this community.

The Hospice is committed to handling your personal information with care and in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Code of Fundraising Practice issued by the Fundraising Regulator. Profiling: What may we do to ensure our work is more unique to you?

We want to improve how we talk to you and the information we provide through our website, services, products and information. To do this we sometimes use profiling and screening methods so that we can better understand our supporters, your preferences and needs to provide a better experience for you.

We may carry out targeted fundraising activities using profiling techniques based on the information that we hold about you. We may also work with third party organisations who provide additional insight, this may include providing general information about you that is publicly available.

This information can be appended to the information that you have provided which allows us to use our resources more effectively by better understanding the background of our supporters and making appropriate requests based on what may interest them and their capacity to give.

Fundraising Preference Service (FPS)

We respect your right to control how we communicate with you about our fundraising activities. The Fundraising Preference Service (FPS), managed by the Fundraising Regulator, allows individuals to opt out of receiving direct marketing communications from registered charities, including emails, phone calls, text messages, and addressed mail.

How FPS Requests Work

If you submit an FPS request, we will:

  • Check the FPS portal regularly to identify suppression requests related to our charity.
  • Remove your details from marketing lists to prevent future direct communications.
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Fundraising Practice, which governs ethical fundraising standards.

How to Use FPS
