Little Lights will mark two years since the community campaign under the theme Lighting the Way – Building Hope, bringing together families, fundraisers, supporters and many of the people who helped save the hospice.

For more than 30 years, we have cared for babies and children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, while supporting the families who love them.

We support families from the moment they need us, offering expert care, practical help and emotional support through every stage of their journey. Whether in our hospice, at home or in the community, we are here to help children live as fully as possible and to give families precious time together.

Our Mission
Little Lights Liverpool exists to provide a centre of excellence in specialist care, respite, emotional support and family services for babies and children with complex or life-threatening conditions, working with families and other professionals to meet individual needs, improve wellbeing and provide practical support.
What we do
Every child is unique, and every family’s needs are different.
That’s why our care is tailored to each child and those who love them. We provide respite care, symptom management, specialist nursing, therapies, play, emotional support and bereavement care, working closely with hospitals, community teams and healthcare professionals to ensure families receive seamless support.
We are here for children and families for as long as they need us.
Our story
Little Lights Liverpool Baby Hospice was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves care, comfort and dignity, and every family deserves support when life becomes uncertain.
What began as a vision has grown into a hospice and support service rooted in compassion, expertise and community. Today, we continue to build on that vision, reaching more families and creating a place where children can be children, even in the hardest of times.

Thank You Concert
The Liverpool Zoe’s Place Thank You Concert was held at the M&S Bank Arena. The event celebrated the extraordinary community response and included the announcement that the charity would begin its next chapter under the new name Little Lights Liverpool Baby Hospice.
New Name, New Journey
Same Heart, Fresh Start campaign launched to find a new name for Liverpool Zoe’s Place
Our Hospice is Saved!
The final £1 million was raised and it was confirmed that the hospice had been saved.
TJ Morris Donation
TJ Morris, the company behind Home Bargains, donated £2.5 million to the campaign, providing a huge boost as the fundraising deadline approached.
Saving our Hospice
An incredible fundraising campaign began, with the community challenged to raise £5 million in just four weeks to save the hospice and secure its future.
Facing Closure
Liverpool Zoe’s Place announced that it was facing closure after almost 30 years.
Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice opened in Liverpool
The first Zoe’s Place hospice was established in Liverpool by Professor Jack Scarisbrick, creating a dedicated place of care and support for babies, young children and their families.
