Nick’s Memory Shines Bright
The memory of Nick Taylor continues to bring people together in the most remarkable way.
Since Nick’s sudden passing, his family, friends and wider community have united to honour his life while making a meaningful difference for the babies, children and families supported by Little Lights Liverpool. Through a combination of heartfelt donations and annual fundraising events, an incredible £7,389.60 has been raised so far, with more still to come.
What began as a tribute to a much-loved son, brother, uncle and friend has grown into a lasting legacy of kindness, community and support.
Bringing People Together in Nick’s Name
Each year, two special events help keep Nick’s memory alive while raising vital funds for Little Lights Liverpool.
The Heart of Birmingham Vocational College Nick Taylor Football Gala Days have become a wonderful opportunity for people to come together through their shared love of football and friendship.

The eagerly anticipated Nick Taylor Memorial Golf Days have also become a cherished part of the fundraising journey, attracting incredible support from family, friends and local businesses.

This year’s Golf Day promises to be even bigger and better, with Nick’s niece, Aerin, organising a fantastic raffle filled with generous prizes. The family are hoping it will help raise even more funds and continue the incredible support shown in Nick’s name.
A Charity Close to the Family’s Heart
Choosing to support Little Lights Liverpool was a decision made with great care and love.
Liverpool holds a special place within the family’s story. It is the birthplace of their beloved Nan Chappell and a city that has long been close to their hearts. It was also home to one of Nick’s greatest passions, Liverpool Football Club.
Supporting Little Lights Liverpool felt like a fitting way to honour Nick’s memory, allowing his legacy to live on through the care and support provided to children and families facing the most difficult circumstances.
